So, I’m reading the Monk disciplines for the new #DnD5e, and reach this one, where they say that “you can align yourself with the forces of creation and bend the four elements to your will (…)”
“Bend the four elements… “
” BEND THE ELEMENTS…”

I WANT TO PLAY WITH A WATERBENDING MONK ON D&D!!!

Feels like it is over
Like it is done
As good as gone.

Ignorance is not bliss
Doubt keeps eating
At the man’s feelings.

If all the happiness
Is really only a facade,
He can’t see through the charade.

Once more in his life
Loneliness grips at the heart,
Sadness off the chart.

There was the promise
Of happiness unlimited
That timeline, now finished.

That is the problem with potentials
Two people met, bonded,
And their future, blossomed.

Life drifted them apart.
They used to be lovers,
Now they are more like strangers.

Not knowing for sure
Not knowing at all
He is finally taking the fall.

His once unshakeable hope
His beacon for happiness
Crumbling bit by bit under duress

It is a test, he repeats.
She has not forgotten me…
Only a word, how hard can it be?

But silence is all he gets
And words he longed to hear
Spoken like leaves in the wind

Scattered, flying aimlessly
Landing wherever they reach
Those words are not his to beseech.

He had a chance for happiness
Which was taken away from him
Hope otherwise, it’s running thin.

Without hope, he is lost.
Without hope, he is broken.
He clings to whatever hope has not been taken.

It is not much, he knows.
But if this horse is to keep plodding,
A carrot for his eyes need to be dangling.
